The curse bestowed upon her has caused her to be repulsive to men because of her blood drinking. Cardea is now forced to live in the woods, coming out only during the night to feed. While out hunting for food one faithful night, she comes across a beautiful man who she has never seen before. Cardea will later come to learn that this man is also cursed, and he too lives alone in the woods just as she does.

Amazing book Kelly. This book drew me in from the first page and held me right to the very end. For readers, this book is full of thrills and excitement that will have you staying up more than a few late nights. I love how the fantasy and historical aspects of this book combined so well together complimenting each other perfectly. A very enjoyable book and I really hope there is a sequel.

“Undead and Unfinished” is witty and very humorous. Right from page one I was already laughing to myself and I just knew that this was going to be a great book. I loved the character Betsy and her attitude. A Vampire Queen who loves shoes, my kinda vampire. Her experience in hell had me cracking up with all of her comments towards Satan. I can't wait to read the next book in the The Undead Series. This is book is a MUST READ for all vampire fans out there.

This is a wonderfully written love story of courage and compassion. I really enjoyed reading about Drake and Elena's back story and how they went through hell and back to be together no matter what. This book also has lots to twists and turns that kept me wanting to read more, until finally forcing myself to go to sleep. I can not wait to read about their daughter's story in the sequel to this book. Amazing job Amanda, I can see why you liked this story so much, I sure enjoyed it. This book is packed full of non-stop action that will have your heart beating till you are finished reading the book. Also there is a heart throbbing romance between a beautiful British admirals daughter and heart stopping pirate that is wrapped up into a fantastic read that will leave you wanting to read more from Shana Galen's series.

Raeven Russell is out to kill her dead finance's killer after learning that he has docked his ship in the same port as her fathers ship. She plans on slitting his neck and healing her heart at the same time. She has no idea what Captain Cutlass looks like until she spots him seated in a corner of a local tavern. Raeven soon realizes that he is drop dead gorgeous and wonders if she will even be able to kill him. Killing him is going to be least of her worries when she soon finds herself captured by Captain Cutlass and his crew and finds herself falling in love with him.

Q: What book(s) or author(s) helped shaped who you are today?

A: When I was in the fifth grade, a teacher placed a copy of To Kill A Mockingbird on my desk. That's when I fell in love with the written word. It was amazing to me that by turning the pages you could be transported to another time and place. Harper Lee's depiction of characters and her ability to place you in the deep South astounded me. I could smell the sultry heat, taste the prejudice permeating the town. Few authors have the ability to place the reader inside the character's soul, but I became Scout for a short period and felt her emotions as she interacted with Atticus, her brother Jem and even Boo Radley. I also love Gone with the Wind. Again, Mitchell's ability to portray the infamous Scarlett O'Hara, a woman you loved and hated at the same time pulled me in deeply. An awesome character depiction that has made Scarlett into a household name for generations.

This is the first book of Madeline Hunter's that I have read. I was slightly disappointed with “Dangerous in Diamonds”. This book starts out slow right from the beginning, but does start to pick up near the middle of the book. There are some bright spots in this book, but also some spots that where the book drags on without pushing the story line ahead. The ending of this book will shock the socks off you. I did not see it coming at all. Over all this book was not a bad read, it had its moments.

This series is fast becoming one of my favorite vampire series. Great Job Diane, and I can't wait to read the third installment to this series.

This book was an awesome short read full of secrets and love. I loved this book, one that I was not able to put down. I wanted to keep reading until the end. I love the story of how Lillian put her own problems aside and helped Lord North deal with his changing into a werewolf. I also love how she never judged him for who he was, and that touched me. This is a wonderful story of what true love is all about.

Cursed was wonderfully written book. I absolutely enjoyed every page of this book, all the twists and turns in this book were delightful. I also loved how Cindy wrote about how Mel rescued injured animals and nursed them back to health. That really warmed my heart. A fantastic read with a wonderful plot and enjoyable characters. This book will most defiantly be added to my re-read book list. Five cheers for Cindy's book “Cursed”.

I will be reading the second book this series, and I can hardly wait to get started.

Lynsay Sands books just rock. I have read all of her books from the Argeneau series and everyone of them keeps getting better and better. The Reluctant Vampire is full of twists and turns that will have you turning the pages at lighting speed wanting to know what is going to happen next. I can never seem to put down Lynsay's books. I always end up staying up all night reading her books, Gee- I hate that. This book is one I really enjoyed. The humorous banter that she weaves in is just excellent! AWESOME job Lynsay, I can't wait to read your next novel in this series.

A: Honestly, this is a lame answer, but I love writing in front of my TV in my living room. I put the tube on for background noise and then I lose myself in my work. You will not be able to turn the pages fast enough reading Captured by the Highlander. Just when you think you have this book figured out Julianne will have you re-thinking the whole plot of the book. This book is full of twists and turns, and I just loved it. This is the first book in this soon to be wonderful series. If this is what the first book is like, we the readers are going to be in for a treat. Fantastic job Julianne, I'm so looking forward to reading your next book.

Q: How many books have you written? Do you have a favorite?

A: I have no idea, to be honest. I think I'm over...ten? It depends on your definition of a book, I guess. And if you count upcoming work. If you're talking full length novels I am at five-ish.

I've written two published novels, Stone Masters: A Vampire’s Reckoning and Orpheus: A Vampire’s Rise. The third book in the series has a tentative release date of Fall 2011.

I have a fondness for each book and it's hard to say which one is my favorite.

Q: When did you first realize that you wanted to be a writer, and What was it that inspired you to start writing?

A: A few things, the situation with the art school being a big part of it.

I need to create. Period. I start going crazy if I don’t. So, at the time, if creating comics and art wasn’t going to be my avenue of getting my ideas out, then I decided on writing as I enjoyed writing comics for the boys in class.

I dove into horror pretty much straight away, one of the main reasons being I was in a pretty dark place at the time, emotionally a wreck, and pretty angry. The horror genre seemed a real good place to express what was going on on the inside, albeit through fiction.

I have wanted to read Michele Bardsley books for quite sometime now, and I finally got the opportunity. Right from the first page I was hooked. It wasn't but a few pages in that I knew that this was going to be an awesome book. I absolutely loved the humor in the book, I laughed all the way through it. I also loved the character Phoebe, she lights up the pages with her sarcasm. Fantastic is I all I can say about this book, I loved every minute of it and I can't wait to read another book of Michele Bardsley.

Natasha Desmond has just inherited her Aunt's money and pharmaceutical business. The only problem with the inheritance is that her crazy step brother is not happy with it. He is trying to make Natasha look like she is crazy. His hope is to have Natasha admitted to the nut house. After learning of the plot, Natasha flees to Scotland in hopes of evading her step brother. While in Scotland, Natasha decides to stay a couple of nights at Castle Kilburn that is allegedly haunted by a vampire.

Garret Kilburn is the owner Kilburn Castle, and knows that the castle is haunted by a vampire. When Natasha arrives at the castle, Garret is taken back by her beauty. When Natasha starts being seduced by the vampire, Garret realizes that he must protect her from the vampire, and also try and protect her from her crazy stepbrother as well.

Unfortunately this book didn’t work for me. I found that there was no engaging story line, or personal attachment built to the characters in this book. It was just a whole lot of sex, with not a lot to tie things together. I would like to have learned more about who this vampire was, and why he is killing people and living at Kilburn Castle. I also would have liked to have learned more about Natasha. I don't recommend this book.
